Mom, I miss you so much! I have been thinking about all that you taught me. I know you weren't sure if you got threw to me, but you did! There are so many things... first, you taught me to never hate. The word hate was not even allowed in our home. Just that one lesson has brought me so much peace! Because of you, there is no hate in my heart. I see now what you gave me, in making me see things from another's point of view. I used to get so frustrated with you for being hung up on a "word", but I know now that you gave me a gift! Thank you Mom! Of course, this is only one of so, so many lessons. I am the woman I am today because of you. Thank you, Mom! I only wish I could pick up the phone and tell you that right now. You are my only true family. I am lost without you....but I know I have the strenght you instilled in me...that will get me threw...

All my love...Jennifer

Lilli Phelan Bean (Morgan's Point, TX)

I think of Monica so dearly. She entertained all of us in our big family. One time she came to spend the night with Johannah after a date. She stood part way in the doorway and part way out. It looked to us like her date was hugging her while she was singing, "...no, no, 1000 times no, you can not buy my caress..." Wow. Later we found out she had put her arms around herself and was just entertaining kids who should have been in bed by that time. I can see her now.

All the Daughertys were delightful to grow up with. I'm glad I had that opportunity. Please know all of you are in my prayers and happy memories.

Lilli

There was a time, long ago, when Monica and I went thru a period of" just plain fun". I will always hear her unique laugh and smile thinking of her wheeling around in the "ghia".
As Kahlil Gibran ,speaking on death said ,"Only when you drink from the river of silence shall you indeed sing. And when you have reached the mountain top, then you shall begin to climb.
And when the earth shall claim your limbs, then shall you truly
dance.
Rest in Peace Monica!
