Floyd and Bonnie Greene (Mandeville, LA)

We cannot begin to put into words our deep felt sorrow for you at this time. I know at times, this will seem more than you can bear, but always remember, God is with you every moment of every day, and will carry you through this. The one thing you will always have with you, are the memories you are able to share. Randy was one of the greatest people we will ever know. He was a great person, father, husband, and friend. His laughter and his funny stories will always be with us. I believe everyone has a time on this earth, and some make a larger impact on our lives in a shorter time, because they are God's special people. Know that we will always be here for you. Please let us know if there is anything we can do for any of you. All our love, Floyd, Bonnie, Jenna, and Stephen.

Mary Salyers Alaniz (Beaumont, TX)

To one of my longest friends, Mindy, I say today how truly sad I am at the loss of your wonderful father. I remember how sweet your father was to me every single time I stepped into your house when we were kids and how much he made me laugh. He was such a gentle soul and I can clearly remember him saying, "Oh 'shy'" in his Louisiana drawl.

As I sit here now I wonder about you, Lacey and your momma and how many tears you must have already shed. I am here to remind you, however, of the many people praying for all of you and your dear father at this very moment and hope that it might bring you all some comfort.

I will see you soon sweetie. Love, Mary
