Dear Jill, Judy and Bill,

From the time that I first met your mother just before Jill and Walter’s wedding, through the forty some odd years to the last time that I saw Nan; I always enjoyed visiting with her. Nan always treated me with respect and kindness. Nan and I could always relate to each other, as we would talk about her business, my business and our families. Through the years with weddings, holidays and Grandchildren being born, it was always a pleasure to see and talk to Nan. She was so proud of all her Grandchildren and she would let you know that with a big smile on her face. I also know that my Mother and Dad always enjoyed Nan and Dub at the different family occasions through out the years. I will remember Nan as a first class person with great character and will forever be grateful to have known her. Many people will forever Miss Nan. Nan is now with the Lord and has found peace. Jill, Judy, Bill and all your families, you have my deepest sympathy at this time.

Respectfully,

Bill Fortney

Jill and Walter, Scott, Grant and all of Nan's beloved family-
My thoughts and prayers are with you all. How wonderful that she is now pain-free and in perfect peace but I know that she is leaving behind a lot of hurting hearts. May God be with especially now and in the days to come. With much love and sympathy, Darby

I will always cherish the memories I have of both Aunt Nan and Uncle Dub. From penny pinball and coca-cola in a glass bottle to feeding treats to Prissy and the faint aroma of cherry tobacco. Visiting with Aunt Nan and Uncle Dub was always a special treat growing up. Their home was filled with warmth and love - I will hold a special place in my heart for them always. Love, Laura
