Dear Charlie, Charlyne & Boyd, and Cardell - I have so many wonderful memories of your mother, who was like a mother to me as well as all the other girls who were lucky enough to spend time with her. Ruth was beautiful, dignified, strong and so very talented. Not to mention fun! She was an excellent role model and a good friend to me. Her home was always open to everyone & she would have a cake or something on the stove ready to share. My thoughts & prayers are with your family. Georgia Cornell Coleman Thursday, July 30, 2009 |

I don't know where to begain.Little Charile,Charlene & Cardell you all are in my prayers.Mrs.D was a big part of my childhood and teenage years. We all have lots of wonderful memories of her.She was an awsome person. She was always there for Monika, Piper & I when we needed her, Because of her I finally got to shave my legs(LOL).I got to learn about the burger buisness,Sewing, Cooking lots more.On sundays, when Cardell was not home I got to take her Lincoln and go wash it .She trusted me and I love her for that. I feel the same way Monika & Piper feel no Christmas will go by without thinking about putting her tree up.She is loved and will be greatly missed. I love ya'll...Liz Thursday, July 30, 2009 |

I really hated to get the phone call that Mrs. D has passed away. I am very thankful that now she is at peace with our Father. Mrs. D was a very big part of my life while I was living at home & growing up. I think I helped decorate her christmas tree every year till I was aobut 21 or so. I will never forget sneaking fries at the Village Burger, eating Menudo that Mr. DeLeon had just made, or being left behind while her & my mom went to buy zippers. There were so many things that she taught me and that we did together, of course not while she was sewing cheerleading uniforms. I will miss her deeply. She was an awesome lady and will always be in my heart. To all of the family, May God be with you and give you the strength to mourn the loss of such an amazing Mom, Grandmother & friend. Love you all, Monika Wednesday, July 29, 2009 |
