We are so sorry to hear about your mother. Our prayers are with you and with your family at this time. We look forward to Jehovah swallowing up death forever and wiping away the tears of all faces. ( Isaiah 25:8 ) Monday, August 10, 2009 |

I was so sorry to hear of the loss of your Mother. She was always so witty and made me feel right at home when I came over to your house to visit. It was as though she took a special interest in her childrens' friends to make them feel welcome. Very rare then, and even more so now.
Cherish all the great memories you have of her. She's definitely smiling down on us now. I will be praying for all of you in your times of grief.

I don't know where to start! I have so many memories from the Village Burger, to my Grandfathers Meat Market, from all my Grandmothers friends that would come over to my Uncle Cardell's friends that would drop by. As a youngster, I use to help her cook bugers and fries at Village burger, at home I use to help her sew and make cheerleading uniforms to formal dress. This side of my family was more like my family than my grandparents and uncles, it was like an extension of my mom, dad and brothers that I never had. My MoMo was a wealth of knowledge and information for me. I always called her for the how to's of cooking. I really enjoyed bringin my son around just to see the joy in her eyes, to see her great grandson. It put so much happiness in my heart that its hard to describe. I could always go to her and spill my heart no matter what it was, whether my mom had mad me made or Cordell and no matter what I said, she never sided with me or whatever family member I was mad at. I never heard my Momo ever say an ill word against anyone. She had to be the most non-judgemental person I have ever met. She would always help me no matter what! Momo, I am going to miss you so much, I just want you to know how much I love you and how much you mean to me and my family. I will never forget how much you did for me. Momo I love you! Dear Charlyne and Charlie,
I am so sorry to hear of your Mom's death. I have many fond memories of her back in our Beaumont days. She was very kind and always fun to be around. I know she will be missed but you will have your memories to cherish. May she rest in peace. Jewel
