Jimmie and I grew up together: his mother was sister to my father. We lost touch after I left the state in 1967, but I remember well Galveston with him and his parents and the entire Redding clan and am sorry my message is so delayed. If you wish to know more about the Redding family, I have complied a book that I can send you. Warmest regards, Gordon. Saturday, December 4, 2010 |

Pop was one of the greatest men that I had the priviledge of meeting in my life. It was always a joyous occasion to sit in his presence to hear his life stories, I never got enough. Life is always at it greatest moments when you can sit and share humor and the stories of those men and women that have lived long hard lives. The heros of our lives are slowly leaving this world. As they leave who can replace them, no one. Pop, I will always remember and love you, as memories are a most personal gift that I cherish and value as the greatest asset of this world. May God look over and guide this family all the days of their lives Friday, March 14, 2008 |
