To the family of "Mitch" - On May 6th, my husband and I were moving some furniture to our daughter's new apartment. Here we are, trying to figure out how to man-handle this heavy couch and manuver it up the stairwell. Then we hear this voice hollering, "Hey - wait. Let me help you!" This nice guy runs over across the parking lot and tells us, "I just can stand to see a woman do this kind of heavy stuff." So, he and my husband finished up the couch move. He let us know that if we had any other heavy moving to let him know, he lived right across the parking lot with his wife. I know I don't know the Simoneaux family at all, but you did raise a very well-mannered, polite young man -- so, thank you!! We were very deeply saddened when we realized it was Mitch. He truly left the sweetest mark upon our hearts! Monday, May 22, 2006 |
