Martha Jo and I were deeply saddened to learn of David's passing. David was a good friend and former student of mine. I reconnected with David in about 1995 and did much framing work for his wonderful wildlife art. His work is fantastic and ranks right up there with the very few special wildlife artists. Yes, he was a great artist, but a better person. He loved his family, and he loved and trusted God. He and his work have a special legacy with me and my family. We will miss him.
