I'll miss my dear, sweet and funny Aunt Ruby. I wanted to share a special memory I have about her. Back in the 60's all the aunts would gather for a sewing club. Once in our house on Cherry Drive I heard my mama (Doris) tell Aunt Ruby that I was self conscious because I wasn't "developing". Later that night she said these words to me: Lulu, put your hands together and push (saying in a sing-song voice) We must, we must develop our bust; for fear, for fear we'll gain it in the rear. From family reunions to visiting during the holidays Aunt Ruby was always there and the center of attention. She was so loved and dear to all the cousins. I will truly miss her. Sharon and Carla I wish I could be with y'all. Love, Lulu Tuesday, December 13, 2016 |

I knew Ruby from eating at Nutrition Services for Seniors. I always enjoyed her wonderful look at life and she always had things to tell to make everyone laugh. She became a good friend and we all missed her when she left Beaumont.
God' speed my good friend!!! Sunday, December 11, 2016 |
