I have written about golf and golfers for 50 years and will be writing about Jimmy in the Nov. 30 Port Arthur News. Jimmy was one of my all-time favorite golf pros and people. I took my sons to him to get them started in golf and I also took several lessons from him. He was a special guy and a class act who will be sorely missed by golfers in Southeast Texas....Bob West.
