Guess you can say we are all shocked that this has happened. There are some good memories that we can hold to that were spent with Sis. Hammer. As a church family we prayed for her healing but it was not meant to be. Our prayers are with our Pastor and all the family.
Rest in Peace Sis. Hammer.

Karen,
You were and always will be my only big sister. When we were younger, I remember thinking how 'grown-up' you seemed to be and secretly admiring you, as little sisters can do. Your talents and abilities were amazing. You loved clothes and shopping and always dressed so classy. I do not know many people who could keep up with you when you were on a shopping "marathon". :) You had awesome sewing and cooking skills. Your decorating was creative and beautiful. And, you could be so hilarious and witty. You would get that certain gleam in your eyes and I can remember laughing so hard at some of the things you said. I will miss you. I didn't expect you to go so soon and this week has been a sad reminder we are never assured of more time together. So thankful for the special times and memories we shared. Wish we could have had just a little more time.
I am so thankful you are no longer in pain and have made it safely home. I love you.
Your little sis, Rebekah
