Sad to learn of Tolivar passing. He and Martha were good friends from North End Methodist Church for many years. My prayers are with his boys of which he was very proud.

Dee Hall (Silsbee, TX)

To the House family: I worked with your Dad for many, many years at the paper mill, and even though I never worked for him directly, I had so much respect and admiration for him and his vast knowledge. Toliver House was a good Christian man, and his life reflected that.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this most difficult time. May the Lord hold each of you in the palm of His hands and give you peace.

Toliver, I first met you in my homeland Scotland, when you came to see your Grandson Hunter Graduate to become an Eagle Scout. I was balled over by your charm, handsome good looks and such a perfect gentleman. Since then, I have spent many times in your company, enjoying listening to many of your stories from your business and personal successes. You were one of a kind, a true gentleman as is all three of your sons. You will be sadly missed in this life. May you rest in peace, you wonderful man.

CARDELL AND ELLY DELEON (Beaumont, TX)

What a fine man, when Elly and I rejoined Trinity United Methodist Church after we were married Mr. House was the first person to greet us when we walked into the sanctuary on Sunday not just once but every time he saw us. We will truly miss his presence in our lives. May God Bless him and his family during these difficult times.
