I am so sorry to hear that Kathy is no longer with us here. I will miss her bright smile and wonderful personality. She taught me so much about faith by the way she lived it every day. I see her in my mind's eye and know and she brightens my day even now. She will be remembered and her legacy will carry on long from now. I was blessed to know her. We will miss her in Sunday School. God bless all of her family.

Keely Kinsel (Beaumont, TX)

MRS Hay taught both of our daughters at All saints. They adored her. my husband and I adored her also. I loved visiting with her about her scuba diving trips and where she was going next. Mrs Hay always had a smile on her face. She smiled when she spoke of her younger husband Gary and her 2 boys. She was proud. We will miss her.
Deepest Sympathy,

Elaine Lambert (Westlake, LA)

I wanted to express my heartfelt condolences to Kathy's family. There's such a sense of helplessness when someone we love dies. I'd like to share some scriptural thoughts that really helped me. Prayer is so valuable at this time, but it's not that prayer simply makes us feel better. 2 Cor. 4:7 says that God can give us, "...power beyond what is normal ", to go from one day to the next. This does not mean that we no longer cry or that we forget, but it means we recover. The reason we recover is because of our hope. Jesus Christ talked about our hope in John 5:28, "...all those in the memorial tomb will hear his voice and come out ". Jesus was referring to the resurrection; this is our hope that helps us recover and gives us power to go on. 2 Cor. 1:3 describes our Creator as, "...the God of all comfort ". One way that God comforts us is by moving people who care about us to give us words of encouragement that we need to hear. May God (Ps. 83:18) grant you peace and comfort now during this time of sorrow.

MICHELLE KUEHN (BEAUMONT, TX)

When I met Kathy 20 years ago, her boys were just toddlers. She was a devoted wife, mother, and friend. Blessed to have reconnected with her a few years ago and last I saw her she was glowing from getting past a health hurdle and was enjoying spending time with family and friends. I will always remember her smile, her unwavering faith, and her spirit. She will be greatly missed by so many.
