Edward "Ed" Hartman Green
October 23, 1935 - September 20, 2016
Gail Jenkins (Brenham, TX)

Rachel, I practiced in two different office buildings with your dad, the old Petroleum Building and later the Beaumont Tower. Ironically, we were on consecutive floors in both buildings. At first I was intimidated by his gruff demeanor, but we later became buddies and enjoyed our elevator rides.

I loved Ed's sense of humor, sarcastic though it was, and it was never sharper than when he was railing about politicians, judges and opposing counsel. At the next moment he would soften and discuss your mother, you children or the grandchildren. He might use humor, but also love and pride.

You guys were so fortunate to have him in your lives.

Miles Sykes (Sour Lake, TX)

I've always felt very lucky to have Hart Green as my best friend for so many years growing up. I have very vivid memories of Mr. Green. I do believe that by his words and example that I was exposed to so much in my younger years has helped me in my life tremendously. I'm forever grateful to Mr. Green and all the family. My prayers for Gods grace, peace and comfort to all the Green family.

It is with great sorrow that we hear about the passing of Mr Green. I will always remember my short conversations with him each and every day at the Wellness Ctr, he will certainly be missed.
