I met Emily when I worked at Best Buy in Pt. Arthur, TX. When we discovered we were both from Kountze we visited and once I learned her genealogy I had to tell her what great stock she comes from. Her grandparents went to school with my sister and I know both families. At that time Emily was expecting - planning to move to Louisiana with her husband who was in the Coast Guard. She also mentioned they were going on a cruise and would be meeting her parents in Mexico. Life was on an even keel or so it seems. I pray for her - for those who will miss her with every breath they take.
