Mrs. Sparks was my kindergarten teacher in 1989, and though many years have passed since then, I still remember her kindness. It takes a special and patient heart to teach that many young children for as long as she did, and for her to leave such a lasting impact on so many speaks volumes about what kind of person she was. She was always kind to my dad, who worked in maintenance at HF during his early years in the US, and to this day, he still speaks fondly of her. I'm glad I knew her, and my heart is with her family and loved ones during this difficult time. Monday, July 11, 2016 |
