I can't think of my Aunt Gale without smiling at her dry, tell-it-like-it-is sense of humor. She was comfortable who she was and made those around her comfortable, too. You felt proud to be liked by Aunt Gale - she wasn't the type to suffer fools lightly. Loved Christmases at their house as a kid, once I got passed whatever beating/torturing I would receive from Uncle Jed. And of course, Jessica was/is more of a sister than a cousin and made holidays in Beaumont and our time together in Aggieland a lot of fun. Wednesday, June 29, 2016 |
