God works in mysterious ways...I have had more contact and conversation with Nancy in recent months than in years, due to her travels back and forth from Beaumont to MDAnderson. In spite of Jack's and my sadness over losing Nancy, we are both grateful for our visits and time with her, and the memories that we will enjoy ongoing.
Love to all of Nancy's wonderful daughters, who took good care of their sweet Mother.

Dear Nancy, Franne and Scootie,
My heart is sad for you and your family. I know you will forever miss your precious mom, who was so full of spirit, generosity and love for everyone blessed to call her their friend and loved one. I was so blessed to call her my friend. Even though we didn't see one another, our phone calls were always a highlight to my week or month.
