John "Jack" Mistrot

Monty Miller (TOMBALL, TX)

Mr. Mistrot was by far the most creative teacher I had in my school years. Had him at Sallie Curtis, 5th grade in 1957-58. There are a ton of memories from that school year. So sorry to hear of his passing. I pray God's blessing for his loved ones during this time....

Loved visiting with Mr. Mistrot at the mailbox. Not to mention his ability to entertain in general. Prayers for the family.

Penny Pearson, Volunteer Coordinator, RSVP (BEAUMONT, TX)

Jack was a treasured volunteer of the Golden Triangle RSVP for almost 17 years. He was always willing to help out especially if he could be around other people and have fun. Was so glad I was able to visit him about a month ago. May prayers surround you in the days ahead Beth Anne, I will miss Jack.

Anita Jones Morris (Huntsville)

He was my 6th grade teacher at Sallie Curtis Elementary around 1964. He was one of my favorite teachers. Very fair and understanding man. He dissected a cat retrieved from the pound which makes me laugh now, for this could not be done in today's learning environment. A great man.
