Rose Voan

My sympathy to all of you. What a great lady you had for a mother--always smiling, although I'm sure when y'all were growing up, she didn't smile all of the time (like when Bob was doing something bad LOL)! My first memory of Rose was the summer before my seventh grade year when she sewed our cheerleader uniforms--she was a great seamstress. In later years, it seemed like every time I went to the post office, she was there; she might've gone several times a day just to visit with everybody. Then I would see her at Buddy's when she filled in there, but she would have heck with the lottery ticket machine so I had to make sure Buddy was there to get my tickets done right. One of the last times I saw her out and about was at the grocery store and I told her I sure would like for us to make a trip to Italy together, but she told me I would have to go by myself, that she just couldn't make the trip anymore. So Rose, if I ever do get to make that trip, I will think about you and drink a glass of Italian wine in your memory.

I loved Rosie. She loved her lottery tickets would save up and bring them to Buddy's to cash them in. That's when we would solve the world's problems. I know she and Buddy are visiting now.We are losing some of our special ones. My prayers go out to the family.
