Dear Chilton Family,
I was so very sad to hear about Terry's passing. So young and so much left to do. He was an amazing person and helped me with my very first job. I was Terry's first secretary at Republic National Life Ins.in Beaumont. I was a senior at Forest Park High School and he hired me to be his secretary in 1974! I knew "shorthand" and could type really fast and he talked really fast! We were both "babies" in our professions but it was fun to go to work everyday for Mr. Chilton. He gave me a book entitled The Seven Secrets of Successful People and I passed it on to many people. He was one of a kind!! God bless you all as you say goodbye to such a unique man. I feel lucky to have spent 2 years working for him before I went off to college. God Bless you Terry!!
