This was a wonderful short bio on my great uncle. And that is a great photo too. I have many fond memories of visiting my great uncle and aunt there in Beaumont. I will always recall the time, in my teen years, I came to visit on my own for about a week. That was a life lesson experience, especially helping to put a fence up on the property. In later years, I was glad to see him and Aunt Starr come to the conventions in order to see them more often. He will be missed dearly but the memories are not forgotten, and like the elders of yesterday who told the stories of the previous generation, we too shall tell the stories and anecdotes over and over again to carry on that tradition. I have great memories of Harvey. He had an infectious laugh and bright smile. He was a cherished friend to my parents. His light lives on through his children and grandchildren. Tuesday, December 15, 2015 |

We send our sympathies and prayers to your entire family. May God bless you all and give you the consolation of the Holy Spirit. Harvey "ran the race" and the Lord surely is telling him, "well done good and faithful servant....".
