In this life, we can profoundly affect people we haven't even met in the flesh. And Jamie is one of those people. I had been FB friends with her through being close with members of the family. I had the privilege of following her pregnancy with Elisa and also was in awe of her strength throughout Elisa's subsequent challenges. And she even introduced me to Elizabeth Gilbert and Eat, Pray, Love, followed with mind-opening chats...And that's no small thing, cause it was a life changer for me. We just never know who we touch.
The gifts her soul has left live on. Our humanness misses them beyond comprehension and just wants them back and wants to make sense of it all. But I think eventually something deep inside of us realizes their soul just did a brilliant job, like Jamie, at doing what it came here to do, and it was just time to graduate. You did brilliantly, Jamie. Thank you for touching us in this life. <3
To the family, thank you for your part in bringing Jamie's beautiful soul into this world...and I wish you grace and peace as you let her go into the arms of something even more beautiful. Sending love to you all.
