Cheryl Bryant (Beaumont, TX)

Maryilyn I loved you when we worked together for 9 years. I too learned a lot from you. We had our moments, but I would not trade them for anything. They only made our friendship much more close and meaningful. You were a true friend. I know how much you loved your family, friends, bowling, and pets. They too returned the love to you in spades. I will miss your face after working with you at the bowling center. After working with you that is where I saw you most. When my heart is empty, I will fill it with the wonderful memories we shared. Your memories will be a legacy of love. Soar my special friend.

It is hard to know where to start when describing Marilyn. She was my co-worker but I also considered her my good friend. She was the most knowledgeable person I have ever met. She could do pretty much everything. She could make soap from scratch (I’m talking Little House on the Prairie method). She knew what every plant and flower was named and she taught me how to pot plants. She was also my private weather girl, always letting me know if a storm was heading our way. She loved her family deeply and would do anything for them. She would have done anything for our herd as well. She was just that type of person. I am going to miss her smile and her laughter and her presence so much but I know she is at peace now. Marilyn, raise some ruckus in Heaven! I love you my friend.

Lori Slocum (Beaumont, TX)

Please accept my deepest condolences for your loss. It has been my pleasure to work with Marilyn over the past 9 years. She brought knowledge and laughter to our daily routine. She truly was a "Professor" to everyone here at our office and is greatly missed. I am saddened by the loss of her presence, but find solace in knowing that she is no longer in pain. When a loved one becomes a memory, those memories become treasures. So, hold onto the good, let go of the bad, and always remember the love she had for her pets, her plants, her friends, and her family. Just know that Marilyn, and all of the memories of the time shared with her, will remain in our hearts here at BCA; and your family will remain in my prayers.
