Perry Preble
August 26, 1959 - July 25, 2015
Susan Gay (Beaumont, TX)

Home Crafters hired Perry to work on a house in Vidor that I was "flipping". I met Perry as he worked on the house. He was installing the bathtub surround and I stood and watched him as I enjoy watching the progress. Perry just started talking to me as if he had known me forever. I don't think he ever knew a stranger. He was proud of his work and sought my approval. He was doing a great job. Just like my vision. As I would come to check on the house, Perry would call to me and couldn't wait to show me his projects. He took such pride in his work. He was a master craftsman and his trade will suffer without him. He also was a kind person who reveled in praise and it was easy to praise him because he was that skilled. He always made me feel welcome when I felt I surely must be in the way. My loss that I didn't have the opportunity to know him better. What little time I knew him, I had liked and respected him. May God touch your hearts daily for sorrow is carried daily in our hearts as our loved ones join our Father in eternity. For truly, our loss is Heaven's gain.

Haven't seen you since I moved up here south of Tyler, but I sure never forgot about you. So sorry this happened, you were sure one of the good ones. See you someday.
