What an amazing woman. Strong spirited and dedicated to those she loved and cared for. I remember her as being able to go from water gun fights to fiercly advocating for those who struggled. So sad to have the loss of a friend from the past. How I wish I had only known and could have been there for her in her time of need. Yet she passed in death much how she lived life, on her own terms. Melissa, know that you were loved by many, you touched even more, and you absence will be felt for years to come. May the rest you have now bring a peace to your heart that could not be felt here on Earth.
