Charlie was a good friend to many people. So funny & always had a story to tell. When there was a need, Charlie was there to take care of it. He will be remembered by all that had the pleasure to be his friend. Kay & Virginia Brown Friday, June 12, 2015 |

I will always remember this man as one of the kindest and funniest people I'll ever know. It was a true pleasure being anywhere near him especially when he started in on his joke telling. I will forever miss him, Dora Bell and Mary. I know they are all in heaven looking down on us with the Lord Almighty. RIP Charlie. I Love You! Friday, June 12, 2015 |

We met early January, 1954, his first day in Chickasha Oklahoma. My day to drive from Chickasha to Lindsay, where we worked. Every time I introduced Charlie to a new friend, he told this story, as he and Dora were at the 81 Motel till they found a house, and he could tell you exactly what time in the morning it was. Charlie was never an up and down person and friend...always up with a new joke, laughing, and ALWAYS available when help was needed. One of the best friends God has blessed me with. Our prayers are with you, Ruby. Don and Betty Duncan Thursday, June 11, 2015 |

We will truly miss Charlie! He was our neighbor for 2 years, but he was much more than your average neighbor. He was like a grandfather for my son and I. We would talk to him almost daily. He always had a smile on his face. He would tell us jokes and look out for our safety. I will never forget how much he cared for my son, and that showed through the little things like helping him feed the birds in front of our house. I also know he loved his wife so deeply. It breaks my heart to see him go, but hope to see him again in heaven one day. Thursday, June 11, 2015 |
