I know your hearts are heavy with sorrow because you will miss "Brother Bob", as I always called him. I was so fortunate to know him as my pastor for a while; and then later, "as my friend." What a special man who always had a loving smile on his face and in his heart! You always felt loved and cherished when he was around! Brother Bob, thank you for helping to mold me into the person I am today. There are always a few great people in a child's life that really speak to their hearts. Those words of kindness and encouragement stays with the child to make them into a better adult. You were definitely one of those for me.
