My Buffalo, I am so thankful for having spent your last four years of life with you. You made me believe in love and believe in myself. You gave me everything I ever dreamed of having and then some. You told me I am perfeck (that's how you pronounced it) and not to let anyone ever tell me I am not, including myself. I have never been loved so much and so well, nor will I ever again. You spoke "Ashley" and knew what I wanted and/or needed before I could even think it up. You never once said an unkind word to me or about me to anyone. You never judged me for anything I had done or did do after I met you. We had enough fun and love to last a lifetime in those four and a half years and that is exactly what I think you wanted. You told me in the beginning that your days were numbered, but toward the end you said you felt better than you had in a long time. I thought I had another ten years with you and I would have gladly spent them right by your side. We had more plans for trips and memories to be made. Everything you said you were going to do, you did. I believe every word and story that you ever told me. One month and two weeks ago you said "I love you, very much". Those were your last words to me. I remember exactly where I was and what I was doing when you said that. Every day I drive on that same entrance ramp onto westbound Interstate 10 to go home and I tell you I love you, very much, each and every time. I pray that you hear me and know just how much I love you. I WILL love you forever and miss you every day of my life. No one will ever measure up to you and you know it! You were the best thing to happen to me and I just want to thank you. I am truly blessed beyond measure to have had you love me. You are without a doubt the love of my life. I still want to call you every morning, every day at lunch and when I get off from work like I did for four and half years. That is one of the hardest things to not do. Not call you and hear your distinctive voice. We had a ball no matter what we did. Be prepared because you better save up those "squirrelheads" for when I meet you up there in heaven. We are going to need them. We have tons more fun to have.

Forever loving and missing you,
Your Beautiful Baby,
Ashley

Jim and Pat Lanier (Huntsville, TX)

Dear Phelps Family,

We were classmates at South Park High School and so often we reflect on just how blessed we were to have such an outstanding group of classmates. Everett was certainly one of those valued members of our class and we are saddened by you loss of him.

We ask God for His peace and strength as you begin the recovery process.

With our very best wishes,

Jim and Pat Lanier

Everett was by far the best construction hand I ever knew and mentor that I could have had, A very special friend. He could make a very difficult job into an peace of cake.Though the training I received and love I got for life spans 40 years, you never forget how you received it. I send all my love and respect to the family and want them to know I thank him and all of you. May he have a life in Heaven to match his life here with us. God bless you EVERETT
