So sorry for your loss of your dear, sweet sister and aunt. May warm memories bring you comfort during this difficult time. And, may Jean walk with God and his angels.

I do think I remember her from FHS, because she was so nice. I do not remember that she had hearing problem. You do carry something with you, it is "You good deeds". Read about it, because this lady will be dressed very nicely.
She was 2 grade levels after me. May the good Lord give your family peace.

Jean came into this world 71 years ago…she was born deaf, handicapped, and experienced slight polio as a child. Yet, she always had a smile on her face. I saw so much in her that I wish I could emulate in my life…always content, regardless of the circumstance; a sweet innocence; and always happy! She loved her family very much. We will miss her greatly.

Imagine living your life without ever complaining, without ever boasting, without ever gossiping, without ever criticizing, without ever being jealous, without ever harming, without ever hating. That was my sister Jean. I remember every morning when she greeted us whether the sun was shining or it was dark, cold, and raining, Jean would say WOW PRETTY DAY! I wish I could be more like my sister Jean. I'll never eat another fried shrimp again without thinking about you! I love you and I will miss you.
