My heart is with you in your loss. He was a good friend and colleague from the beginning of my career at Lamar 53 years ago. Some of us still remember his programs on early American music and appreciate his enthusiasm for music, opera (especially the Beaumont Civic Opera.) and the First Methodist Church choir.
