You were like a son to me my sweet boy. It was like yesterday when Carlton brought you to our house to meet for the first time. Brand new on the streets of Chambers County "rollin n patrollin". Then I met your sweet Amy~Ah sweet Amy who utterly adored you & we adored her for loving & taking care you you & the kids they way she did. Full of life, energy, laughter & love I "adopted" you both right away. So many memories race in my mind! Ya'll riding 4-wheelers & motorcycles on our property like maniacs scaring the mess out of me, coming over to eat "moms cookin" simply having a blast living life to the fullest; letting me ride along in the patrol car with long hours of chatting, scary rides in your little sports car, singing together at our Christmas parties & of course Our Shared Birthday when you sent me the old lady jokes that still make me laugh when I read them. You were a friend & mentor to Cody & were a friend & safety net when you saved Derik when he flew off his 4-wheeler taking him to the hospital watching over him until I could get there. You never believed me no matter how many times I told you; but darlin' you Really did make a difference in every life you touched. I miss you but know that on OUR birthday I will remember, honor & cherish all the laughter & sweet talks we had together. Now its our turn to watch over Amy & the kids so as we used to say to each other "no worries I got this". I will thank God every day that only a short few days ago I got the giant squeezy hug & kiss and heard "love you too mom" with your big smile & wave good bye as you walked away. That image is forever etched in my mind. May you rest in peace my darlin'; I Love you always n forever...Mom#2
