I had the pleasure of getting to know Josie while working at Regina-Howell. She was always such a kind and gentle person. She did a painting of a girl and horse for me that I still treasure. She loved her family dearly. My deepest sympathy to them all. I feel fortunate that our lives crossed paths.

What a special soul. I remember Mrs Barras always had a kind word and a smile on hand whenever I saw her. She was gracious and an all around sweetheart. Our most sincere condolences.

I always was excited to visit with your mother on every trip we made from Houston when I was younger. She was unlike any other person because she always wanted to laugh, even if it was at herself. I hope you always remember how much joy she brought to everyone just by being herself.

Sassy Kerr (Spring)

Eric and David,
I am so sorry for your loss. I do not have to tell you what a wonderful person , mother and great neighbor she was to me, Doug and Holly. There are lots of great memories on Blanton Place . I pray that you will find the strength and peace to get through this. Your Mom was a strong lady and you will be too.
Find some peace that she is pain free, in the arms of Jesus and your father. Miss you two....You two, also, will be in my prayers.....Luv Sassy

Janice Singleton Ramirez (Nederland, TX)

David and Eric

It has been a while since I talked to your Mom. She was a very special person and a good friend. I am so very sorry for your loss. I did talk to her some time last year.
I talked to her to see how she was doing. Time gets away quickly. I hope you and your families are doing well. We were close friends when you were younger and we lived across the street. Randy, your mother and I and Richard. Your dad was my brother=in=law's cousin. We had lots of good times together when we lived across the street. I have lots of good memories of your mother and dad. My very sincerest and deepest sympathy. Very sincerely, Janice Singleton Ramirez.
