Paul Rudy (Whitehouse, TX)

my sincere condolences on Lloyd's passing.
I will never forget when I was a college student, you all took me in and treated me like your own family.
Lloyd gave me my first job and made sure I learned the value of hard work. I will always be grateful to him for that.
Lloyd was the kindest, most caring, loving and sincere man i knew (even when he tried to hide it).
Lauretta, my thoughts and prayers are with you and the whole family. May the Lord give you peace and strength to endure this.

I just wanted to give my condulences and prayers to Mr. Lloyd's family. I worked with me Lloyd at the Liberty Pearl building where he was a security guard. Mr. Lloyd was a very sweet and funny man. He adored is wife, children and grandkids. He always had these wonderful stories about his wife and how they met. I use to always tell him every Wednesday before he left for his days off to take his wife shopping and he would just laugh and laugh like it was the funniest thing in the world to hear!!! I also loved when I would go to work he would bring Snapple's everyday to drink and he would say "Here's the fact of the day!" he would never go a day with out letting me read the fact of the day that was on the tops of the Snapple bottles and how every where I looked I would see "Cutie" stickers all over our sign in sheets at his desk. I would say Mr/ Lloyd really and he'd say man they are so good!!!". And he would always tell me that the building was haunted. There was always a homeless lady that would go into the building and when I'd walk into work he'd say " I had to escort the Hole in the Wall lady out again." He'd call her that because where she would sit was in one the abandon buildings across the street and sleep in front of the door that had like a little hallway so that's how she became the "Whole in the Wall Lady". I will never forget Mr. Lloyd he is in heaven now and watching over his family and friends. God bless you all!!!
