My deepest condolences go out to your family Kendel. May you rest in peace my friend. it was an honor to play Gods sport with you, baseball, as teenagers.

Seeing that Kendel has passed on breaks my heart. He was always a delight to be around. I had the privilege to know him for only one year. As a sophomore, he was one of very few students who had to duck to enter my classroom.....and always with that smile on his face. We had a classroom rat snake, and Kendel was the only one with the skill and compassion to handle "Cricktor" when it was time to clean his cage or to measure his growth. At the end of the school year, it was Kendel who offered to take him to the woods to set him free. I guess now more than ever his kindhearted gestures have come full circle, in that he has also been set free to fly with the angels.
