Dr. John and Sue Sij (Vernon, TX)

We are saddened to learn that Maggie passed away. Maggie worked for me at the Beaumont Research Center for 28 years as my lead technician. He knew the value or quality research and what to do and when. As a result he taught ME much about Rice Belt agriculture. Maggie was always prompt and took the lead in preparing our field research. He took pride in his labors. His dedication and work ethic were outstanding. A wonderful friend and collegue. He'll be missed.

Phyllis M. Miller (Beaumont, TX)

So sorry to read about Mr. Garcia's passing. I remember how much my dad enjoyed meeting often with Mr. Garcia and friends for breakfast or afternoon coffee at the Pig Stand. They enjoyed getting together for conversations more than the food. I regret I will not be able to attend his service but wanted you to know how much my family valued a special friendship with Mr. Garcia. You will be in my prayers.
