Mildred Sulser Wright
January 29, 1922 - July 29, 2014
Brenda Anthony Warren (Beaumont, TX)

I had been Mrs. Wright neighboor for nearly fifteen years. I never called her Mildred it just did not seem quite right to me. My son who is fifteen now, loved going to visit with her. We knew she had a love of sweets so we always tried to bring her baked goods when we had them. She was very wise and kind. I loved my dear friend and will miss her. I will not be the same not seeing her when I look out my window across the street. I know she had many loved ones waiting on her in heaven.

Mildred often did historical research in the County Clerk's Office, and was always very gracious to all she met. Her books on cemeteries in Jefferson County have been an incredible resource for both the Historical Commission and the public. May she rest in peace, and may her memory live on in the hearts of all she touched.

Mildred was a fine lady and good friend. Her legacy will live on through her historical & genealogical contributions to the Jefferson County Historical Commission and a host of other organizations. She was a fine Christian lady. She will be missed.

Mildred was such a wonderful neighbor and loving friend to us for over 40 years. We will always remember her with wonderful memories and her loving smile. Not only did she watch my girls grow up and marry, but she also watch and enjoyed our grandchildren. We all loved her so much. She will be so missed but not forgotten. Our dearest sympathy goes out to all of her family. She was such a smart lady and always was lending a helping hand to someone. God bless her and may she rest in peace.
