My heart goes out to the family, especially VJ Barranco, as I know Ruth was a very sweet lady who will be truly missed. VJ and Ruth were a very special couple, loved dearly by my family, The Teel family of Nome. I hope and pray that you receive lots of support and peace during this time... You are in our thoughts & prayers.

We are so sad with the loss of my Aunt Ruth. She had a genuine and beautiful smile that wrapped you in warmth whenever you saw her. Growing up so far apart, I didn't get to visit with Aunt Ruth and Uncle V.J.
a lot, but I have wonderful memories of our times together and I know she had a special place in my father's heart. Bless you, Uncle V.J. Aunt Ruth will truly be missed. Betty and Kevin Casey

David Wagner (Albany, OR)

Well, one of my favorite people in the world has checked out of it and it is truly Heaven's gain. Someone who has only shown me patience, kindness and love throughout my entire life. This event is the only time she's ever made me sad but, when considering how happy that she is now, I can rest easier. Cecilia and I both extend our heartfelt sympathy to my Uncle VJ and pray that God will comfort him. Thanks, Aunt Ruth. Thanks for everything ... and I hope to see you again later ...
