Where do I begin? Manual, I love you so much. You were the first person who engaged my life when I met your son, Gerald. You embraced me as your own daughter. In the beginning, you also embraced my daughter, Greenley as your own granddaughter. When I married your son, you, along with your sister Mrs. Teresa and Jorge we're the only family members who came to our wedding to celebrate our special day. A year and a half later, your grandson Giovanni Manual (who is named after you) was born. Once again...you embraced this little boy with so much love. Greenley is old enough to remember your smile, your touch and your soft voice. Giovanni, however, isn't old enough to remember anything about you, he was just getting to understand your role in our lives. Why did you have to leave us so soon? I will never understand God's motive, yet I will never question them either. He always takes the best ones first. I know you are looking down on us as we sit here and grieve and I know my dad is standing right beside you smiling letting you know we will be ok. As I tell My husband, "You will never understand this, you will always think about him, you will always cry and smile remebering him. And still 11 years later, I still miss my dad every day". So, I pray Gerald and our children live by those words. You are in a better place and we will meet again one day. RIP Abuelo. We love you!!!

My heart goes out to the Alfaro family. As we all know this father is in a better place to rest in peace his family will miss his presence here on earth. I unfortunately did not know him well but I have had the great pleasure of knowing Doris and Jorge and Crystal in the family and they are very hard working and kind people so I can only imagine that this man was an amazing father and husband. I will pray in the coming days that God gives the family strength to be there for one another and to support their mom. Guys, I am so sorry you have lost your Dad and Doris, your husband keep your memories close in mind and know he is forever in Your hearts. Peace be with you
