Gilbert & Trudy Jons- Simien (Stowell, TX)

To the George & Harmon family we're so sorry for your loss may our Lord & our God bless all of you.
When Sister Anna called me that Monday morning I was in shock like I said if it was something one shouldn't know the neighborhood would have known. I can only say I'm so great full for that call. Seeing her was a shock never thinking she was in that way. I said Vera Mae wake up! Get up Vera "Hamma" have a game this afternoon so you wake up & get ready. She opened her eyes trying to talk the tube was stopping her I told Jeanette look she trying to talk. I can only say East Chambers Never Had a football team with more mothers on Thursday afternoon games, then Friday night good old days. It was Vera, Edna, Carolyn, Diana, myself, Susan, Barbara, Ray. We we're E.C.s best. May God bless & have you in rest. R.I.P. My friend.
