Dan Richardson (Sugar Land, TX)

Offering my heartfelt sympathies to the Abney family for the passing of a wonderful Christian mother and friend. I feel blessed to have benefit of so many fond memories of Ms. Iris through 4-H, Vacation Bible School, and First Baptist Church - Nome. Her departure will no doubt leave a void in the Nome community, but I'm sure Heaven just got a shade brighter!

Dianne MacKenzie (Nome, TX)

Mother and I are sending prayers for all of you. She was a part of our lives for as long as I can remember. Our wish for you is wonderful memories of happy times and the knowledge that she will be remembered as a loving, gracious woman, mother, and grandmother. Alyce Jones and Dianne MacKenzie..

Dianne Hodges Gaudet (BAYTOWN, TX)

I am so sorry to hear about Mrs. Abney's passing. She was such a special person to me and my family. She taught me many things as I grew up and as a parent and grandparent I have tried to instill those qualities in my family. Even though we didn't see each other often we always kept in touch with letters and Christmas cards. I will miss her grately. I know she is in Heaven dancing a jig with Mr. Abney. May God wrap you in his loving arms and give you strength and peace during this difficult time. My prayers are with you.
Dianne
