I met Mr. Keys for the first time nearly 30 years ago and I always thought highly of him. Haven't seen him for some time but will always remember his kindness. And to Paul, Cindy, Jason, Randy, Michael, Jeremy, Brittany, Rachel and Auntie (Margaret) and the rest of the family, know that you are all in our prayers and we are thinking of each of you in your time of loss. I am deeply saddened to hear of Mr. Keys passing. We moved in next door in 1969. Back then everyone was neighborly and they were no exception. When my Momma Louise was diagnosed with dementia and it started rearing it's head Mr. Keys would always check on my momma and help her out. For that I am forever grateful. You were always nice to me and I am proud to say that you were a part of my upbringing whether you know it or not. Thank you for being a part of the greatest generation and serving our country in WW II.You will surely be missed. Signed: A neighborhood boy. Friday, May 9, 2014 |
