Dear Penny and family, I was so sorry to read of Mrs. Prater's passing. I remember the first time I saw her at a P.T.A. meeting at Crockett. She was just beautiful. She was dressed impeccably, looking like she came straight out of a magazine. From time to time I would see her and Mr. Prater around town and she would catch me up on you and Robin. She loved her family dearly, as we could all see. I wish you all comfort from the beautiful memories you can share with each other. much love, Lou Ann (Talkington) Arrington Wednesday, April 9, 2014 |

Charles, Penny and Robin -
I was so sorry to hear of Jane's passing. Mom just remembered to tell me just a moment ago. Thank you and Norma for calling and letting her know. As you might could tell, mom may not always remember to share information.
Becky and I have many fond memories of visiting your family in Beaumont and also spending time with everyone at the beach house. I remember lively conversations with Jane and her wonderful laugh.
Please know that I will keep your family in my prayers. When you get a chance, please send me your contact information so that we can keep in touch.
Sincerely, Carol Monday, April 7, 2014 |
