Carmen Van Law partially financed the loan for me so I could purchase her former home in Lockwood, NV. I was consistently in contact with Carmen for a four year
duration, and during that time we formed a very special
bond.
She never forgot to send Christmas cards, and always
included pictures of her family and pets for me to enjoy.

Tracy wrote the most beautiful paper in high school
about her relationship with Carmen, and as Carmen read it, we both cried. That paper was very special to Carmen, but in it held the truth of who Carmen was.

Carmen was a very special person, and even though I knew I would never meet her face to face, we shared
a bond of the heart that I will never forget.
I am so grateful that I purchased her former home if just
for the fact that I was able to meet such a sweet, kind, humble, generous, loving person. Carmen taught me a lot about life, and I will miss her.
My prayers are with the family.
