Please accept my deepest sympathy for the loss of this outstanding man and professional. I had the opportunity to work with him as an exchange professor while I was at Grambling State University and he was at Louisiana Tech. Charlie epitomized the meaning of love and gratitude through his teaching and administration of the Taiwanese Cohort at Tech. He will be missed by hundreds of students and colleagues he touched throughout the years. Tuesday, March 25, 2014 |

Me and my husband had the pleasure of going through Dr. Nix at Lamar. We would not be the coaches and teachers we are today without his guidance. He will be greatly missed. So sorry for your loss. We have you in our prayers. Tuesday, March 25, 2014 |

Suzanne and family,
I think of Charlie and only smile at the good times we had in Tuscaloosa. A good man to the core, Charlie will always be in my memory.
My thoughts are with you and the family.
Sincerely... Gene Tuesday, March 25, 2014 |
