I had the priveledge of working with Richard at the refinery. Yes, we always called him Richard. He was the best of the best operators. The Central Control operators would always say that if they heard his voice on the radio they knew everything would be OK. He was quiet, unassuming, calm, intelligent, gentle, patient beyond belief, kind and caring. The list of wonderful traits could go on forever. If everyone were like him the world would be a much better place. He was loved by many and will be missed by many. Monday, March 24, 2014 |
