Richard Linn Loupe

Norma Staggs Long (Cabot, AR)

Mrs. Loupe, The cousins in Arkansas are just now hearing of Richard's passing. His grandfather and my mother were first cousins. We all spent many summer family reunions at Lake Greeson in south AR learning to swim, skiing and trying to stay away from the "little" kids. In 69 he was number 19 getting in the VW going the movies from the camping site. In 70 he said to me and my fianee you'll aren't going to sleep on that cot together out here all night, are ya?, I'll stay up with ya! RIP Richard.

I was fortunate to work with Richard at the Crude and NAC units. Always a pleasure to work with. Richard was the benchmark for Operators and he always led by example. Richard’s uniqueness is one of a kind and he will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

I am so shocked to hear of Richards passing. We grew up together and he was a great friend. Many fond memories of our little group that use to play sand lot football, baseball and basketball together. My deepest condolences to the family.
