Dear Smith Family and Friends,
My condolences to Ben's family. I am saddened to learn of Ben's passing. I knew Ben as a fellow graduate student at Indiana University and recall that he was a bright, passionate, and energetic man that loved OU football. In memory of Ben I sent a small donation to the Clark County library.
Sincerely, Angela McDowell Saturday, March 22, 2014 |

My condolences to the Smith family. I very much enjoyed my short time knowing Ben, especially at the psych parties. I wanted to pass on that one discussion that would be of much import now, and that was last Thanksgiving. I asked him what he was going to be doing, and he talked about visiting family and how important it was and how much he was looking forward to it. I am so glad that he did. Saturday, March 22, 2014 |

We were shocked to find this posted on FB at the time you were having Ben's memorial service. We are so glad we got to reconnect with you and Ben 3 years ago when we passed through Beaumont. He always had a special place in our hearts and will continue to as we remember him. May God's peace comfort you once again. Wayland & Patsy Saturday, March 22, 2014 |
