Dear Elaine, Angela and Christina,
What a surprise to hear of Gerri's passing. St. Joseph came for her; she is in glory now!
I am so sorry for your loss; it is great.
Gerri and I were friends throughout our 12 years as students at St. Anthony Grade School, our freshman year at St. Anthony High School (the year it closed) and three years at Central Catholic High School.
She was always thoughtful, sweet, beautiful and kind. I loved going to her home. Her mom had a Religious Goods Store in the front of their home on Avenue C. (I lived on Ave. A.) I spent lots of time in her home (and in the gift shop, too). She spent many days and nights in my home.
I pray for God's consolation for you and thank God that I had the privilege of spending a dozen years with your sister and mother. I am the winner. May Gerri rest in peace and joy, winning countless and constant graces for you and all those whom she held (and still holds) dear.
