Peggy and family, I remember the nights I spent at your home while in college and the love I felt from both of you. Marty always amazed me in his ability to make me laugh, his great wisdom, and his love for The Lord. I can see him storming heaven, talking to God, making sure that the family and friends he loves are taken care of. My prayers are with your family that The Lord will comfort you in your loss, knowing that one day you will see him again in Heaven. With love, joyce Thursday, March 6, 2014 |

My fondest memories of Marty include his wonderful sense of humor, his kindness, his faith, and his love of family. I am so grateful that David, our sons, and I were the Green's neighbors for sixteen years. One day I was mowing our front lawn, and since the Greens and Lawrences were never in a competition for yard of the month, I just pushed the mower across the driveway and mowed their front yard at the same time. I was told later that either Danny or Joe asked, "Should we take her some water?" and Marty answered, "Yes, but wait until she's finished." Thursday, March 6, 2014 |

Dear Aunt Peggy, children, and grandchildren, Frances Hall and I heard the news of Uncle Marty's passing before we boarded a flight back to Houston. We were visiting Aunt Mary Lou Hall and her family. I am sad about this news and hope and pray that you will find healing with time. He was a wonderful uncle to me. Always greeting me with Hey Beautiful! He knew how to make everyone feel special. I know Uncle Marty is with his master and at peace at this time. We love all of you and will pray for you during this time.
